Morrish & Banham tastings feature high quality, great value wines presented by knowledgeable speakers in a relaxed and friendly fashion! The tastings at M&B HQ are designed to offer a Food and Wine matching experience and we draw on the many fine producers in Dorset to assist us. After an introduction, the producer will offer a tasty example of their work and we will offer a wine to match and explain its origins and why we have chosen it. The timings for the evening are usually 7pm – 9pm and places are priced at £15 - £20.
M&B Tastings HQ – This is our Wine Merchant & Tasting Room located at 1 Pope Street, Brewery Square, Dorchester, DT1 1GW, 01305 261 480. Limited parking is available on Pope Street. The Fairfield Car Park (also known as The Market Car Park) is located close by at DT1 1QW and offers free parking after 6pm.
The Seaside Boarding House Tastings: The Seaside Boarding House is a wonderful hotel and restaurant located on a spectacular cliff top in Burton Bradstock, DT6 4RB, 01308 897 205. Parking is available to the rear of the hotel and in the adjacent Cliff Road. The evening begins with an aperitif and canapes and is followed by an eight wine tasting presented by Mark Banham or a guest speaker. The timings for the evening are usually 6.30pm – 8.30pm and places are priced at £15 - £20. The Seaside Boarding House will independently offer a two or three course supper. Wines provided by Morrish & Banham will be available to purchase with a £10 corkage charge.
Café Paninis Tastings Café Paninis is located at 11 Weymouth Avenue, Brewery Square, Dorchester, DT1 1QR, 01305 265 and is known for high quality food and excellent service. The Fairfield Car Park (also known as The Market Car Park) is located close by at DT1 1QW and offers free parking after 6pm. The evening will begins with aperitifs and aperitifs and is followed by an eight wine tasting presented by Mark Banham or a guest speaker. After this a two course supper with wine will be included. The timings for the evening are usually 7.00pm – 22.00pm and places are priced at £35 - £40.
