The Weymouth Tandoori Restaurant & Takeaway is Weymouth's oldest Indian Restaurant, and it is easily one of its very best!
Ideally situated in the town centre, we are a well-established restaurant serving many mouthwatering authentic Indian dishes.
Our Head Chef's recommendations are: Nobabi Fish, Shagor Jumbo King Prawn, Special Chana Vegetable and Hathkora Chicken or Lamb, and whatever you decide to choose, do try the 'tikka' option when you order as the meat will have been specially marinated in subtle spices for several hours prior to cooking, and if you haven't yet, you must try at least one dish from our traditional Tandoor oven!
We suggest that you try our tasy Tandoori Chicken along with a Vegetable Sali, which is a speciality curry from our Head Chef's own hometown back in Bangladesh. This dish is medium-hot but it can be adapted to suit your personal preference. Our Sali is VERY tasty, it is made with a very special blend of fresh herbs & spices and it is served with a sprinkling of crispy grated potatoes on top...
To accompany your main meal, try our delicious aubergine starter, or some dall samber (which is actually off-menu here, but we are more than happy to cook any Indian or Pakistani dish upon request), which is made from pureed lentils, mild spices & spinach, and coconut pillau rice, which is alway cooked to perfection, along with one of our freshly-baked naan breads.
